Two serious road accidents injure multiple people in northern Italy

In the province of Como, a vehicle overturned on Viale Lombardia near Albese con Cassano. Firefighters rescued the driver, who was taken to hospital in red code.

On the A26 motorway between Masone and Ovada, two collisions involving four cars caused the highway to be closed for about an hour. Several occupants were injured, one of whom was trapped inside a vehicle. Rescue teams, including fire brigade units and a helicopter, extracted the victims and transferred them to hospitals in Genoa and Novi Ligure.
