Two teenagers killed in Austrian car crash

Two teenagers, aged 16 and 18, died following a car accident in Nußdorf, Austria, late Saturday night. The vehicle, a BMW carrying five young people, veered off the road in the Pabing district and overturned multiple times before striking a stone block.

Police reported that three passengers in the rear seat were not wearing seatbelts and were thrown from the vehicle. While the 16-year-old and 18-year-old victims succumbed to their injuries, an 18-year-old female passenger was injured and transported to a hospital in Salzburg. The 18-year-old driver and a passenger of the same age remained uninjured but were taken to the hospital for examination.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the exact cause of the crash. An expert has been commissioned to calculate the vehicle's speed based on the extensive deformation of the car and the wide scene of the accident.
