Two Teenagers Rescued After Falls in Northern Israel Streams

Two separate rescue operations were carried out in northern Israel after teenage hikers were injured in the Yehudia and Baniyas streams. In the Yehudia stream, a boy fell about three metres, sustaining a head injury. Paramedics from the Golan Rescue Unit provided initial treatment, after which an Israel Air Force 669 helicopter arrived and evacuated the boy, who remained fully conscious with a mild head wound.

In the Baniyas stream, another teen fell and injured his leg. The Golan Rescue Unit’s medical team, together with northern MAGAV forces, treated him on site before transporting him to an intensive‑care ambulance. The rescue teams urged the public to stay on marked trails and avoid crossing fences, warning of the danger of injuries.

The incidents highlight the coordinated response of Israeli police rescue units and the air force in handling wilderness accidents.
