Two teens arrested in fatal Essex shooting

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Roman Wright in Essex, Maryland. Police responded to a vehicle on Bladen Road on Monday morning where Wright was found with a gunshot wound; he later died at a hospital.

A second juvenile suspect was taken into custody following a barricade situation in Middle River.

In a separate incident occurring approximately 30 minutes earlier and one mile away on Banyan Wood Court, two 19-year-olds, Izick Aminartey and Donielle Mack, were shot. Aminartey was pronounced dead at the scene, and Mack later died at a hospital. Baltimore County police stated they do not believe the shooting of Wright is connected to the double homicide on Banyan Wood Court.
