Two traffic accidents in Fulda region injure four people

On the evening of July 3, two separate road collisions occurred in the Fulda district of Hesse, Germany, resulting in four injuries. In Fulda's Petersberger Straße, an 18‑year‑old driver of a VW Lupo ran a red light and struck a Toyota Yaris, lightly injuring the 20‑year‑old driver and her 19‑year‑old passenger; vehicle damage was estimated at about €6,000.

At roughly the same time in the Eichenzell‑Lütter area, a 72‑year‑old cyclist from Hünfeld was hit by a 56‑year‑old semi‑truck driver from Bad Kissingen while the truck attempted to overtake. The cyclist fell and suffered minor injuries. Police later identified the truck driver and opened an investigation for suspected hit‑and‑run.

Both incidents were reported by local police, and the injured parties were treated for light injuries.
