Multiple traffic collisions reported across Poland in August 2026

On 6 August in Gniezno, a local resident stopped a teenager who had stolen a child's bicycle worth about 3,000 zł, returning the bike to its owner.

In Różanie on 5 August a Toyota driven by a 46‑year‑old woman collided with a Peugeot delivery van; the driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital.

A separate crash on 6 August in Jabłonna (Japan) involved a Mazda and a Peugeot; one person received medical attention but was not hospitalized.

In Świnoujście on 1 August a car left the road, entered the sidewalk and struck a 47‑year‑old pedestrian; the victim was taken to hospital.

A 70‑year‑old cyclist was injured in Przysucha on 5 August after a collision with a Suzuki car; the cyclist was transported to hospital.

In Bydgoszcz on 5 August a motorcyclist was struck by a car at the Inowrocław Roundabout; the motorcyclist avoided injury after braking.

Wrocław police are searching for a foreign courier who, on 31 March, rode against traffic and hit a woman pushing a stroller with three‑month‑old twins, then fled the scene. The police have released the suspect’s description and are asking the public for help.
