Two traffic collisions halt roads in Szeged and Badacsonytomaj, Hungary

In Szeged city centre, a small truck collided with a motorcyclist waiting at a red light at the intersection of Tisza Lajos Boulevard and Nagy Jenő Street. The motorcyclist fell onto tram tracks, suffered only minor injuries and tram service was suspended while traffic backed up. Police and ambulance units responded to the scene.

Near Badacsonytomaj on the 71 main road, two cars crashed, and one vehicle caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the flames with a powder extinguisher before the local fire brigade arrived. The road segment was closed and traffic was diverted onto the Kisörsi road while the incident was cleared.
