Two traffic collisions in Poland injure drivers in Jaworzno, Skierbieszów

A collision on a Thursday evening in Jaworzno involved a Volkswagen Golf that attempted an illegal left turn, striking a Kia Sportage. The 59‑year‑old driver of the Kia was thrown into a road sign and a street lamp, sustaining minor injuries and was taken to hospital. The Volkswagen driver and a passenger fled the scene; police are now identifying the driver.

In Skierbieszów, a 42‑year‑old driver of a Fiat Ducato lost control on Parkowa Street, entered the opposite lane and hit an oncoming Citroen. The Citroen’s 48‑year‑old passenger was taken to hospital with non‑serious injuries. The bus driver was found sober, fined 1,500 zł and received 12 penalty points.

Both incidents prompted police investigations and traffic safety appeals.
