Two Venezuelan nationals found dead in Peru

Two Venezuelan nationals, aged 20 and 18, were found dead in separate incidents in Peru. In the district of Amarilis, Huánuco, 20-year-old José Manuel Mayorquin Arraez was found deceased in a shack after being missing since September 17. Authorities discovered the body with hands and feet bound, and a gunshot wound to the left temple. A note found near the body claimed the killing was an ‘Ajuste de cuenta’ (settling of scores) by a group called ‘Los Intocables de Huánuco,’ though investigators suspect this may be a tactic to divert the inquiry.

In a related development, another Venezuelan national was also found dead following a violent encounter, though specific details regarding the second victim's identity and location were partially obscured in the report.
