Two violent attacks in Italy lead to arrests and investigations

In Agrigento, police responded to a domestic dispute that escalated when a 17‑year‑old Tunisian resident threatened his girlfriend with a broken bottle and then assaulted officers with punches and kicks. He was arrested on charges of maltreatment, violence against public officials and threats, and transferred to a juvenile detention facility pending further judicial action.
