Two violent group clashes erupt in Istanbul and Bursa, Turkey

In the early hours of a night in Istanbul’s Esenyurt district, an armed confrontation broke out between a motorcycle‑linked group and a car/minibus gang on Balıkyolu Mahallesi. Shots were exchanged, hitting nearby shops and vehicles, and two motorcyclists were knocked down before the parties fled. Police and crime‑scene teams arrived, sealed the street, and began a broad investigation.

Later, in Bursa’s Osmangazi district, a dispute between two unidentified groups escalated into a melee involving kicks, slaps and batons in Doğanevler neighbourhood. Residents recorded the fight on their phones as panic spread. Police intervened and separated the combatants, restoring order after a brief period of unrest. Authorities have opened an inquiry to identify those involved.
