Two women killed in car crash while traveling to support hostage guard
Two women, Ana Estrada, 55, and Alejandra Flores, 52, died following a vehicle collision with a tree on Route 7 in San Martín, Argentina. The victims were relatives of a prison guard who was being held hostage by two inmates at the Boulogne Sur Mer prison.
The women were traveling from La Paz toward Mendoza City to support the guard during the hostage situation after a video of the incident was circulated on TikTok. The crash occurred during the early hours of Tuesday while the guard remained in captivity.
