Two workers killed in Kırklareli factory explosion

Two workers died following an explosion at the Brysis alcoholic beverage factory located in the Kırklareli Organized Industrial Zone. The incident occurred during welding work on a condensation tank in the factory yard.

Security camera footage captured the moment of the blast, showing two workers attempting to move away from the tank as the explosion occurred. The force of the blast threw the workers onto the concrete ground and sent a metal section of the tank into the air. One victim has been identified as Furkan Efe Polat, who succumbed to his injuries at Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital. The identity of the second deceased worker has not yet been released by official authorities.

Kırklareli Governor Uğur Turan and a public prosecutor visited the site to oversee investigations. An inquiry is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
