Two-year-old boy abducted in Puebla found alive in Tlaxcala
Dastan Chavarría Martínez, a two-year-old boy, has been located alive in Santa María Acuitlapilco, Tlaxcala, following his violent abduction in Coronango, Puebla. The incident occurred on September 8, when two men in a vehicle intercepted the child and his mother in the Misiones de San Francisco neighborhood. Security footage captured the moment the suspects attacked the mother and forcibly took the child, causing her to be dragged across the pavement.
The Fiscalía General del Estado de Puebla (FGE) is conducting an interstate search operation in coordination with Tlaxcala authorities. Investigators are currently pursuing two primary lines of inquiry: a potential custody dispute between the child's parents and an allegation from the paternal grandmother regarding an economic debt owed by the mother.
The child was found in good health and has been placed under institutional protection for medical evaluation and safety protocols. While the boy has been rescued, the investigation remains open to identify the perpetrators and establish legal responsibilities.
