Ty Gibbs to honor Kyle Busch with M&M’s tribute at Bristol

NASCAR driver Ty Gibbs will honor the late Kyle Busch by driving a car featuring the iconic M&M’s paint scheme during the Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 19. The tribute, announced by Busch’s widow Samantha Busch and Joe Gibbs Racing, aims to celebrate Busch’s legacy at one of his favorite tracks. The No. 54 Toyota Camry XSE will include a mosaic of personal photos and imagery of Busch’s career achievements.

Separately, following his recent victory at Iowa Speedway, Gibbs expressed a desire for NASCAR to reconsider the use of digital rearview mirrors on Next Gen cars. Speaking on ‘The Dale Jr. Download’, Gibbs suggested that removing the digital cameras could improve racing dynamics by preventing drivers from easily blocking opponents, noting that the technology might even impact which drivers remain competitive in the series.
