Ty Gibbs to honor Kyle Busch with tribute paint scheme at Bristol

Ty Gibbs will honor the late Kyle Busch by driving a throwback M&M’s paint scheme on his No. 54 Toyota during the Bass Prop Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver intends to commemorate Busch’s legacy at a track where the late racer achieved significant success, including multiple series sweeps.

Beyond the tribute on the track, Gibbs has taken on a supportive role for Busch’s son, Brexton. Following the sudden passing of Kyle Busch at age 41, Gibbs has acted as a mentor and ‘big brother’ to the young man. Gibbs, who also experienced the sudden loss of his father, Coy Gibbs, in 2022, has provided emotional support and companionship to the Busch family during their grieving process.
