Tây Ninh authorities arrest man for stabbing acquaintance

Authorities in Tây Ninh Province have arrested Huỳnh Hữu Tân, born in 1978, following a stabbing incident in Tân Thạnh commune. According to police reports, the incident occurred on March 5, 2026, after Tân had been consuming alcohol.

Driven by a previous minor conflict, Tân allegedly used a knife to stab a man identified as P. V. Đ. three times in the back. The victim sustained injuries assessed at 9% disability. Tân has been formally prosecuted for intentional injury and the illegal use of military weapons.
