Tây Ninh province inspects five gold businesses for compliance

The provincial inspection department of Tây Ninh announced Decision No. 226/QĐ‑TTr to audit five gold‑trading enterprises over a 45‑day period. The audit, running from 1 January 2025, focuses on adherence to standards, measurement, quality and product labeling regulations.

The inspected firms are private companies Ngọc Phượng and Hồng Phát, and limited‑liability companies Kim Vạn Phước, Vàng Thế Hùng and Kim Nhật Linh. The inspection team is led by Deputy Chief Inspector Nguyễn Ngọc Vệ, assisted by staff from the provincial inspection office and the Department of Science and Technology.

Officials said the sector directly affects consumer rights and market stability. The audit aims to detect violations, help firms correct shortcomings, and provide recommendations to authorities for improving the regulatory framework and protecting consumers.
