Tycen Proper’s Planned White House UFC Attack Thwarted

Nineteen‑year‑old Danville, Ohio resident Tycen Proper was arrested on June 10 after his mother alerted local police about his extremist online statements and firearms purchases. Authorities say he was planning a terrorist attack on the UFC Freedom 250 event scheduled on the White House lawn, intending to "take out the evil government" and target data centers.

A joint investigation by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Danville Police, the FBI and the Secret Service uncovered an arsenal that included a Diamondback DB15 AR‑15 rifle, a 12‑gauge shotgun, tactical gear, camping supplies and non‑perishable food. Proper was placed on a mental‑health hold and later detained in a U.S. District Court. A 211‑page document released by the sheriff’s office contains 131 new photos from the raid, confirming his purchase of weapons with $3,000 of graduation money and his communications with online contacts for potential reconnaissance in West Virginia.
