Tychy public kindergartens open supplementary recruitment

Public kindergartens in Tychy are conducting supplementary recruitment for children aged 3 to 6. Approximately 150 spots remain available across 22 public facilities for the upcoming school year.

The recruitment process is specifically aimed at children who did not participate in the primary enrollment period or those who have recently moved to the municipality. Unlike the initial electronic process, this supplementary round requires parents to contact selected kindergartens directly and submit paper applications in person at the facilities.

According to Małgorzata Wawak, spokesperson for the Tychy City Hall, a total of 2,550 places were prepared for the 2026/2027 school year to accommodate both continuing students and new enrollees. The public institutions provide six hours of free instruction, education, and care daily.
