Poland reports multiple incidents including railway security investigation
Various incidents have been reported across Poland, including a major investigation into potential railway infrastructure security breaches in Białka Kolonia. Following reports of a loud explosion heard by a locomotive driver and a visible flash captured on onboard monitoring, special services including the Internal Security Agency (ABW), the Central Investigation Bureau of Police (CBŚP), and counter-terrorism units have investigated the site. While suspicious wires were found near the tracks, preliminary inspections found no damage to the tracks and no traces of explosive materials.
Other reported incidents include a 69-year-old woman in Tychy being detained after refusing to exit a bus and subsequently breaking a window with a glass bottle. In Serock, a truck struck a traffic light pole, causing it to fall onto a delivery van, though no injuries were reported. Additionally, a cyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a truck trailer on road DW 756 near Nowa Słupia. In Hungary, a Polish pilgrim coach crashed near Mezőkeresztes, resulting in 12 deaths and dozens of injuries.
