Tyler Bates, Gunship, and Dave Lombardo release new single ‘Revolution. exe’

Film composer Tyler Bates has released a new single titled ‘Revolution. exe’ in collaboration with British synth-wave band Gunship and drummer Dave Lombardo. The track, which features Lombardo’s percussion and Gunship’s retro-futurist electronic style, was produced and released through Bates’ new label, Gravel and Echo Recordings.

The collaboration was completed remotely across different time zones. The production involved Grammy Award-winning engineer Robert Carranza for mixing and Stefan Brown of Abbey Road Studios for mastering. The song’s lyrical themes reportedly focus on power, control, and complacency.
