Tyler Biadasz carted off field during Chargers practice
Los Angeles Chargers starting center Tyler Biadasz was carted off the field during a joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday after sustaining an apparent left leg injury. The injury occurred during 11-on-11 drills when a defender was pushed into Biadasz. Trainers treated the player on the field before he was assisted onto a cart, unable to put weight on his leg.
Biadasz, who signed a three-year, $30 million contract this offseason to provide stability to the offensive line, was expected to be a key upgrade for the team. Rookie Jake Slaughter, a former second-round pick from Florida, took over center duties during the practice session. While Slaughter has shown proficiency at the position, the injury raises concerns regarding the depth and stability of the Chargers' offensive line heading into the 2026 season.
