Post Malone has withdrawn from headlining the Strummingbird music festival following the postponement of his Asian and Australian tour dates.

Kicks Entertainment, a subsidiary of Live Nation, has announced that Kentucky Americana singer-songwriter Tyler Childers will replace Post Malone as a headline act for the Newcastle and Sunshine Coast locations. Other additions to the lineup include Sam Barber for the Ballarat dates and James Johnston.

The festival organizers stated they are “gutted” by the news but have provided ticket holders with the option to request refunds before 5pm on September 3 due to the significant lineup change.
