Tyler Herro sought trade to Milwaukee Bucks for fresh start

Tyler Herro has revealed that he was “kind of pushing” for a trade from the Miami Heat to the Milwaukee Bucks to facilitate a fresh start and return to his home state of Wisconsin.

In a SiriusXM interview, Herro explained that the move was personally meaningful, allowing him to “come home” after his tenure in Miami. His comments provide additional context to the trade involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, which saw the star player move to the Heat while Herro joined the Bucks.

Herro also touched upon the atmosphere in Miami during the previous trade deadline, noting that the organization held a “lockout day” due to the intense pursuit of an Antetokounmpo deal. Since joining Milwaukee, Herro has been positioned as a key player for the Bucks' roster.
