Tyler Morris prepares for Indiana return following ACL injury

Indiana University wide receiver Tyler Morris is preparing for the 2026 season following a year of rehabilitation. A former Michigan player, Morris missed the entire 2025 season due to a non-contact torn ACL sustained during spring camp.

During his recovery, Morris remained engaged with the Indiana program by attending meetings, performing stationary work, and participating in practice rotations toward the end of the season. He utilized the time to study the Hoosiers' offensive system and consult with teammates like Elijah Sarratt and Omar Cooper Jr. to prepare for his return.

Morris, who previously played 34 games for Michigan, aims to transition into a versatile slot receiver role. He seeks to build upon the success of Omar Cooper Jr., who recently became a first-round NFL draft pick for the New York Jets. Morris has returned to full practice, recently participating in scrimmages ahead of Indiana’s season opener against North Texas.
