Tyler Perry to move to Puerto Rico to reduce workload

Filmmaker Tyler Perry announced plans to move to Puerto Rico early next year to reduce his professional workload. The 57-year-old producer stated he intends to “slow down a bit” and spend more time with his 11-year-old son, Aman.

Perry’s decision follows the recent Netflix premiere of his film “Why Did I Get Married Again?”. He noted that his desire to step back is influenced by his age and a wish to enjoy more personal time.
