Tyler Reddick reveals obstructive sleep apnea diagnosis
NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick has revealed a diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea, noting that the condition had long-term effects on his daily life and performance. Reddick reported experiencing symptoms such as loud snoring, morning headaches, low energy, and waking up feeling unrested, which he previously dismissed as normal.
Reddick has begun using continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, stating that he noticed a significant difference after the first night of use. He noted that the treatment has changed how he approaches recovery and preparation. To support sleep health education, Resmed is collaborating with Reddick and 23XI Racing to help others recognize the signs of sleep apnea.
Sleep apnea is a common condition that can lead to serious health issues, including cardiovascular disease, stroke, and diabetes, if left untreated.
