Tylisos Gymnasium holds traditional blessing for new school year

The Tylisos Gymnasium held its traditional blessing ceremony to mark the beginning of the new school year. The event was attended by clergy, including Father Georgios Malliotakis, Emmanuel Astyrakakis, and Konstantinos Bolontzos, as well as local officials such as Malevizi Deputy Mayor Fanis Kokkinakis.

During the ceremony, school Director Despoina Leleka welcomed students, particularly those in the first grade, and emphasized the goal of developing learning skills in a collaborative environment. She noted that the school aims to be a second home for students but also issued strict warnings regarding the prohibition of mobile phones and a zero-tolerance policy toward violence.

Teaching staff is reported to be fully in place for the school's operation. Students are scheduled to receive their textbooks following the ceremony, with classes expected to transition to a regular schedule starting the following week.
