Tyon Grant-Foster selected 15th overall in NBA G League Draft

Tyon Grant-Foster, a 6-foot-7 wing and former Gonzaga Bulldogs player, was selected 15th overall in the 2026 NBA G League Draft by the Sioux Falls Skyforce, an affiliate of the Miami Heat.

Grant-Foster’s professional journey follows a complex path involving significant health challenges. After playing for Indian Hills Community College and Kansas, he experienced cardiac arrest while at DePaul, leading to two years of recovery from heart issues. He later played for Grand Canyon University, where he was named WAC Player of the Year, before transferring to Gonzaga following a legal dispute with the NCAA.

Grant-Foster will report to Sioux Falls ahead of the G League tip-off tournament, which is scheduled to run from November 6 through December 16. He previously spent time with the San Antonio Spurs organization after going undrafted in the NBA.
