Typhee wins season 5 of Netflix rap competition Nouvelle École

Typhee has been crowned the winner of the fifth season of the Netflix rap competition ‘Nouvelle École’. The Marseille-based rapper secured the victory after competing against finalists Mischa and Nayte, earning a prize of 100,000 euros.

Typhee, who only began his serious music career in January 2025, impressed a jury consisting of SDM, Theodora, and Oli. He noted the pressure of being the only contestant from Marseille this season, expressing pride in representing his city.

The conclusion of season five follows the success of previous seasons, which featured notable contestants such as Shayne, the season four winner, and B.B. Jacques.
