Tyra Banks expresses regret over ‘Halloween: Resurrection’ role

Tyra Banks has expressed significant dissatisfaction with her role in the 2002 horror film ‘Halloween: Resurrection’. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the model stated she has ‘beef’ with the production, noting that the project failed to deliver the career advancement she was promised.

Banks revealed that she initially hesitated to take the role of Nora Winston, questioning how it would benefit her transition from modeling to acting. She was persuaded by an agent who cited the career success of Josh Hartnett, who appeared in ‘Halloween H20’, as a precedent. However, Banks noted that ‘neither’ the career boost nor the ‘iconic death scene’ she was promised actually materialized, as much of her footage was cut from the final film.

The movie, directed by Rick Rosenthal, also featured Jamie Lee Curtis, Busta Rhymes, and Brad Loree.
