Tyreek Hill admits to threats in civil trial involving estranged wife
Former NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill testified in a Miami civil trial regarding his ongoing divorce and legal dispute with his estranged wife, Lakeeta Vaccaro Hill. During the proceedings, Hill admitted under oath that he made threats toward her, stating he told her he could “get people to hurt her.” He expressed regret for these comments, noting he wished he had handled the situation differently.
Hill denied several other allegations of physical abuse presented by Vaccaro, including claims that he attempted to punch her in the stomach while she was pregnant and engaged in other acts of physical violence. Hill also accused Vaccaro of taking approximately $60,000 from their shared family accounts without permission, alleging she was already receiving significant monthly funds for living expenses.
The legal battle comes as Hill remains a free agent following his release from the Miami Dolphins in February 2026. The NFL is reportedly reviewing his personal conduct as he seeks to return to professional football.
