Tyreek Hill unlikely to sign with NFL team before season start

Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill is unlikely to sign with an NFL team before the start of the 2026 regular season as he continues to rehabilitate a severe knee injury. Hill, who was released by the Miami Dolphins in February, is recovering from a dislocated knee and multiple torn ligaments, including his ACL, sustained during a game against the New York Jets last season.

His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, stated that Hill is prioritizing a full recovery and finding the right team rather than rushing a signing. While Hill has shared videos of his rehabilitation progress, including running drills, he has indicated he still has work to do to reach peak physical condition.

Though no specific team is currently linked to Hill, analysts suggest contenders in need of wide receiver help, such as the Kansas City Chiefs, could be potential suitors. Hill remains a highly coveted free agent despite the injury timeline.
