Tyrol announces 2027 truck traffic dosing schedule

Austria has released the truck traffic “dosing” schedule for the first quarter of 2027 regarding the route toward the Brenner Pass. In the Tyrol region, traffic regulations will be active on the A12 motorway near Kufstein Nord for 11 days between January and March 2027.

The measure targets trucks traveling toward Innsbruck and the Brenner Pass to prevent excessive vehicle volume from entering the Inntal corridor simultaneously, reducing the risk of congestion on the A12 and A13 motorways. Police will regulate German freight traffic during peak periods to maintain safety and flow. Many of the scheduled dates fall on Mondays, following 2026 data indicating that Monday mornings see the highest intensity of freight traffic in the Kufstein area.
