Tyrol honors 17 companies with traditional business awards
Economic Councilor Mario Gerber has honored 17 Tyrolean companies with the ‘Tiroler Traditionsbetrieb’ certificate in recognition of their long-standing anniversaries and contributions to the regional economy. The award recognizes businesses that have existed for at least 30 years.
The oldest honorees include Hotel Sailer in Innsbruck, celebrating 130 years; Morandell International in Wörgl, marking 100 years; and Taxi Kratzer-Heel in Hall, celebrating 90 years. Other recognized businesses from the Innsbruck-Land district include Dach+Fach Holzbau GmbH and Konditorei Fuchs, both celebrating 30 years, and Gasthof Dorfkrug in Fulpmes, marking 50 years.
Gerber emphasized that successful long-term management requires courage, perseverance, and the ability to evolve, noting that these traditional businesses combine experience with new ideas to create jobs and strengthen regional value creation.
