Tyrol offers winter camping and sports in the Alps

The Tyrol region in the Alps offers diverse winter tourism opportunities, specifically highlighting winter camping as a way to combine outdoor activities with nature. The region features various accommodations ranging from small, family-run campsites to five-star facilities located directly on ski slopes.

In the Achensee area, situated between the Karwendel and Rofangebirge mountains, visitors can engage in several winter sports. The region is a notable destination for cross-country skiing, offering over 228 kilometers of trails, as well as 53 kilometers of ski slopes. Other available activities include sledding on natural toboggan runs, hiking, and wellness services.
