Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua gear up for heavyweight showdown with separate bouts

Tyson Fury will face veteran Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, on Friday, while Anthony Joshua is set to fight Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday. Both bouts are being used as preparation for a planned November clash between the two British heavyweights, with Wembley Stadium the preferred venue if Brent Council lifts its 11 p.m. curfew for a live U.S. broadcast.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has urged the fight stay in the United Kingdom, but UFC founder Dana White says the venue will go “where the money is,” hinting at a possible U.S. location. White added that his company, TKO, has handled the television and venue deals, while Saudi sponsors are providing significant funding. Prenga warned, “A J and his team have made a mistake… Get ready for the worldwide shock which will change my life forever.”
