Tyson Fury sets deadline for Anthony Joshua fight deal

The heavyweight boxing match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is at risk of collapsing due to a dispute over the fight's location. Promoter Frank Warren has set a deadline of September 4 for Joshua's team to resolve contractual disagreements regarding the venue.

While original agreements suggested the bout would take place in England, Saudi Arabian organizers and Netflix are reportedly pushing to move the fight to Madison Square Garden in the United States for a November 20 date. Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, has resisted this change, seeking to honor the original terms or secure a larger financial package to compensate for the move.

Warren warned that if an agreement is not reached by the deadline, Fury will pursue a different opponent for the November 20 card, noting that a replacement is already being considered. The standoff follows a period of delays, including a serious car accident involving Joshua earlier this year.
