Tyson Fury targeted by BKB for potential bare-knuckle boxing transition
Tyson Fury is being targeted by Bare Knuckle Boxing (BKB) as a potential participant in the sport. BKB CEO David Tetreault stated that the promotion is prepared to offer significant financial incentives to Fury, noting that while the heavyweight boxer must first conclude his professional boxing commitments, there is an “open door” for him to transition to bare-knuckle fighting.
Tetreault also revealed that BKB has held similar discussions with the camp of Oleksandr Usyk regarding potential brand ambassadorships or competition. Additionally, the promotion is in talks with former UFC star Nate Diaz regarding both fighting opportunities and ambassador roles.
Fury’s public persona, characterized by humor and showmanship, has been compared to former heavyweight contender Tex Cobb. While Fury’s personality serves to market his high-profile boxing matches, such as his upcoming bout against Anthony Joshua, his future in combat sports may extend beyond traditional boxing rings.
