Tyson Fury to face Mariusz Wach in Thailand charity bout ahead of Joshua fight

Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, 37, will fight 46‑year‑old Polish contender Mariusz Wach, nicknamed “Viking”, in a 12‑round charity match on 24 July at Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand. The bout is part of Fury’s preparation for an anticipated showdown with Anthony Joshua later this year and will be recorded for a Netflix series. All proceeds will be donated to local children affected by hunger and homelessness.

Fury, a two‑time world champion, retired after a loss to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024 but announced a comeback after a year‑long hiatus. The charity fight marks his first in‑ring appearance since returning.
