Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight contract locks venue to UK, bans Zuffa Boxing

Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that the contract for the anticipated heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua requires the bout to be staged in the United Kingdom, explicitly excluding Zuffa Boxing despite claims by UFC chief Dana White. The agreements name Hearn and Frank Warren as promoters and tie both fighters to Saudi financier Turki Alalshikh for upcoming tune‑up fights – Joshua against Kristian Prenga on July 25 and Fury against an opponent on August 1 in Dublin.

Boxing analyst Simon Jordan later questioned whether Zuffa’s involvement could jeopardise the fight, suggesting that politics and competing business interests might delay or derail the matchup, though he emphasized the financial stakes make the fight unlikely to be abandoned altogether.
