Tyson Fury's prospective bout and warm‑up fight rumors intensify

Unbeaten Albanian heavyweight AJ Hysa, 24‑0 with a 90% knockout rate, said he is waiting for the “final contract” to face Tyson Fury. “This is good news that I’m hearing… I’m waiting for the final contract,” Hysa told talkSPORT, as negotiations over date and venue continue. Hysa’s camp says fans and the Albanian community are eager for the matchup, while Fury is expected to schedule an interim fight in August after his recent win over Arslanbek Makhmudov.

Promoter Frank Warren has refuted reports that Fury will fight on August 1 as a warm‑up. “I haven’t said that… there’s nothing on that date,” Warren told The Stomping Ground. Fury, fresh off a unanimous decision victory in April, is still slated for a high‑profile clash with Anthony Joshua later this year, following Joshua’s scheduled bout with Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on July 25.
