U-21 J.League to be broadcast live on DAZN starting August 22
The J.League has announced that the newly established 2026-27 U-21 J.League will be broadcast live in its entirety on DAZN. The competition is set to commence on August 22.
Designed to provide competitive match experience for players aged 18 to 21, the league will feature 11 participating clubs divided into East and West groups. The East group includes clubs such as Urawa Reds, FC Tokyo, Tokyo Verdy, Kawasaki Frontale, Shimizu S-Pulse, and Jubilo Iwata. The West group consists of Nagoya Grampus, Gamba Osaka, Vissel Kobe, Fagiano Okayama, and V-Varen Nagasaki.
The tournament structure includes an East-West league round, an exchange round, and a playoff round to determine the champion. Teams are permitted to register up to six overage players without age limits and up to four U-24 overage players aged 22 to 24.
