On 17 August, U‑Banca Transilvania will reconvene in Cluj‑Napoca to begin preparations for the 2026‑27 basketball season under coach Mihai Silvășan.
After domestic training sessions and two friendly matches against CS Vâlcea 1924 in Râmnicu Vâlcea (29‑30 August), the team will travel to Antalya, Turkey for the Gloria Cup, facing Tofaș Bursa, Bahcesehir College Istanbul and two‑time EuroLeague champion Anadolu Efes Istanbul (9‑13 September).
The preseason will conclude in Athens, Greece with matches against AEK Athens on 18 September and Peristeri Betsson B.C. on 19 September before the competitive season begins.
