U. C. Sampdoria adopts new digital platforms for hospitality and sports data
U. C. Sampdoria is implementing new technological initiatives to enhance both its operational hospitality and athletic performance through strategic partnerships.
The football club has partnered with Docudrop to deploy a digital platform designed to manage matchday hospitality. This ecosystem centralizes data regarding guests, access, and field activities, synchronizing back-office operations with a mobile WebApp to provide real-time, traceable information for staff and organizers.
Additionally, Sampdoria has established a partnership with the University of Genoa to create the ‘Sports Data & Performance Lab’. Developed in collaboration with the Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics and Systems Engineering (DIBRIS), the lab will focus on using advanced data analysis to optimize the athletic, physical, and tactical performance of players. The initiative also aims to provide training and research opportunities for students, positioning Genoa as a hub for specialized sports data expertise.
