U Cluj suffers 3-0 defeat to Vojvodina and faces tight schedule ahead of Europa League

U Cluj lost 0-3 to Serbian side Vojvodina in a pre‑season friendly held in Austria, extending the club's three‑match winless streak of the summer. The defeat followed earlier losses to Croatia U19 and a goalless draw with Újpest, leaving the team without a victory in its Austrian training camp.

Coach Cristiano Bergodi warned that the club will face a congested calendar, with eight official matches in 25 days. U Cluj will play the first leg of its Europa League preliminary round against Dinamo Kiev on 9 July in Lublin, followed by the Romanian Supercupa României against Universitatea Craiova, then the return leg against the Ukrainians, and the start of the domestic league. Bergodi cited Dinamo Kiev as a strong opponent and named Universitatea Craiova as the main title challenger for the upcoming season.
