U. D. O. announces 20th studio album ‘Voodoo Ranger’

U. D. O. Voodoo Ranger heavy metal Udo Dirkschneider album release

German heavy metal band U. D. O. has announced the release of their 20th studio album, ‘Voodoo Ranger’, scheduled for January 8, 2027, via Reigning Phoenix Music. The release coincides with a triple milestone year: Udo Dirkschneider’s 75th birthday, the band’s 40th anniversary, and the publication of Dirkschneider’s official autobiography.

The band has released ‘I’ll Die Trying’ as the first single, described by Dirkschneider as one of the most personal songs in their repertoire. The album is expected to feature a mix of heavy riffs and emotional ballads, including the track ‘Movin’ On’, which features lead vocals by Peter Baltes.

To support the new album, the band will embark on an extensive Triple Anniversary Tour across Europe in 2027.
