U-NEXT announces new Premier League and music festival streaming initiatives

U-NEXT has announced several new content distribution initiatives for the 2026 season. The streaming service will expand its Premier League coverage by offering live viewings at JOYSOUND karaoke rooms across Japan starting from the 2026/27 season. This initiative aims to provide a communal viewing experience, focusing on matches involving Japanese players. The first event, Everton vs. Crystal Palace, will be available for free viewing at participating locations.

Additionally, U-NEXT will provide exclusive live streaming for the ‘FNC BAND KINGDOM 2026’ summer band festival on September 21, 2026. The broadcast will feature K-rock artists from FNC Entertainment, including FTISLAND and CNBLUE, offering over four hours of uncut performance footage to monthly subscribers.
