U19 Men's Floorball World Championship groups drawn for Riga 2027

The group draw for the 2027 U19 Men's Floorball World Championship, to be held in Riga, Latvia, from February 17 to 21, has been completed.

In Group A, Switzerland will face Sweden, Norway, and Slovakia. Swiss coach Simon Meier noted that Sweden is expected to play with high physical presence and speed, while Norway is viewed as a difficult opponent due to their strong defensive play and counter-attacking capabilities.

Group B features the host nation Latvia alongside Denmark, Finland, and the Czech Republic. Other groups include Canada, Singapore, and Australia in Group D, and Japan, Germany, and a European qualifier in Group C.

For teams like Austria, participation depends on the upcoming European qualification tournaments in Estonia and Spain this September, where only three European spots are available.
